Are you looking for a fast natural non toxic repellent to get rid of your Aphids and black ants? Then Ceylon Cinnamon Leaf Oil is your answer.

If you are an avid Gardener whose flowers and vegetables have been destroyed by Aphids you know that sinking feeling. Months of hard work down the drain. Fear no more because a mix of just 1% Ceylon Cinnamon Oil with water will kill off those horrible Aphids. Good quality Cinnamon Oil high in Eugenol (at least 75%) is a powerful anti-bacterial, anti-microbial, anti-fungal that can kill off tiny organisms.

Aphids, known as plant lice and also as greenflies, black flies or whiteflies, are tiny sap-sucking insects that are a huge problems for avid Gardner's and farmers alike. Aphids work closely with ants and have an interdependent relationship. So if you have an ant problem you will also have an Aphid problem.

The best part of Ceylon Cinnamon Leaf Oil is that it also repels the ants that work closely with Aphids. Ants feed on the honeydew excreted by the Aphids and in exchange they protect the aphids from predators like ladybirds, hover fly larvae, wasp, crab spiders and the like. In fact some ants have farms of Aphids, cultivating them and protecting them like we would do with dairy animals and then milking them for their sap. Get rid of the ants and you also get rid of the Aphids. Ceylon Cinnamon Leaf Oil will burn and kill the aphids and repel the ants if not kill them on contact with cinnamon oil.

ABOUT APHIDS

Aphids can be green, pink, yellowish, black, or powdery gray and very tiny, about 1/16 to 3/8 inches long. Some types have wings. They feed on flowers, vegetable plants, fruits and even shade trees. Unless you get them under control these tiny creatures reproduce on a massive scale.

Aphids dig into the plant like glue and suck the plant sap causing leaf curl, damaged buds and branch tips and destroy flowers. As they feed, aphids spew out a sweet sticky fluid (honeydew) onto the leaves. This fosters the growth of black mold which blocks sunlight from the leaves and destroys the leaf.

HOW TO USE

  1. First wash the plants with water. Use a garden hose set on a firm spray setting. This will drop the majority of the of the Aphids to the ground. Take your time washing the plants. Make sure you wash under the leaves too. You want to do a careful methodical job of washing away as many Aphids as possible,

  2. Mix 8 teaspoons of Ceylon Cinnamon Oil to a gallon of water. (That is 1% Cinnamon Oil to 99% water). If you want to mix less, adjust accordingly. We would suggest you use a pump sprayer from Home Depot which costs about $10. It's sprays a nice even spray and is quite effective and reliable..

  3. Remember always use 1% Cinnamon with 99% water. Anything more and you will burn the plant because Cinnamon Oil is hot.

  4. Adjust the spray nozzle to a fine spray mister setting. You want to evenly spread the Cinnamon Oil solution so it hits as much of the pant as possible without concentrating the Cinnamon Oil in just one place. Remember to spray under the leaves too.

  5. Make sure you spray on the stems of the plant and bark crevices where they lay eggs. Also spray on the ground where they have fallen. The Cinnamon Leaf oil should kill them off in a couple of hours.

  6. Repeat e very two weeks or as necessary. Cinnamon Oil is very powerful so make sure you don't over spray and burn the plants. It can happen if you drown the plant with Cinnamon Oil.

  7. The key is to spray evenly as much as possible so there are no hidden areas of the plants where the Aphids can get a toehold.

ANTI BACTERIAL MOLD KILLER

Cinnamon Oil is one of natures best anti bacterial and anti-microbial agents, more powerful than most chemical based compounds. That means it is effective at getting rid of the mold build up that Aphids created with their honey dew droppings. Cinnamon Oil leaf will eliminate and prevent powdery mildew build up.

NON TOXIC/SAFE ON VEGETABLES

The great thing about Cinnamon Oil is that it is non toxic and safe for your plants, children and pets. Of course you must dilute it because concentrated Cinnamon Oil is extremely hot and spicy and will irritate your skin. Cinnamon Oil is all natural and safe to spray on your vegetables.
