Try this delicious Keto friendly Toaster Oven Pizza made with Almond flour and Ceylon Cinnamon for the taste of a real pizza without the carbs. We made this in the toaster oven, because people who do keto invariable do it alone. Firing up a big oven for a small pizza is pointless. This Pizza is shockingly close to the real thing and very tasty.

While experimenting with this Pizza we found some cute mini Pizza dishes from Calphalon as seen on Amazon here. They have holes on the bottom which makes baking a Pizza much easier.

A word of caution. Almond flour is difficult to digest and blocks nutrient absorption according to articles like these. That's why adding Ceylon Cinnamon powder will somewhat mitigate the side effects of Almond flour.

Ceylon Cinnamon helps digestion and promotes nutrient absorption by delaying gastric emptying. It also helps reduce blood sugar levels especially good news for those on the Keto diet because sugar has to be zero for Keto to work. More importantly Ceylon Cinnamon adds taste and flair to this Pizza crust.

Still, you should have this maybe twice a month at most we think. At that rate it is a perfect addition to your Keto lifestyle. Of course you can also make Keto Pizza with Cauliflower or Coconut flour, but that is for another time.

  1. Preheat toaster oven to 400°F.

  2. Cut up the Mozzarella cheese in small pieces in a medium bowl and microwave for 30 seconds.

  3. Add Almond flour, Ceylon Cinnamon powder, garlic and salt. Mix with a folk and then use your hands to roll into a dough.

  4. Gently knead into the mini Keto Pizza pan.

  5. Bake at 400°F for ten minutes.

  6. While Pizza is baking, heat the butter in a small pan. About a minute. Add ground beef, mushrooms, yellow bell pepper, salt and black pepper. Cook for seven minutes stirring frequently.

  7. Take out Pizza from toaster oven at the ten minute mark. Spread sugar free Pizza sauce on pizza top, add the ground beef and vegetables and sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese and bake for another 5 minutes at 400°F.

  8. Cut into quarters and enjoy.




Unlike ordinary Cassia Cinnamon you find in the stores, Ceylon Cinnamon has low Coumarin levels, so it won't damage your liver, especially if you are a regular Cinnamon tea drinker. Besides Ceylon Cinnamon is mild, yet slightly sweeter. It is not spicy like store bought Cassia Cinnamon, but has hints of cloves and citrus with wonderful subtle aroma.

Ceylon Cinnamon is subtle and adds to create a more complex flavors. You would never know there is Ceylon Cinnamon in this dish, unlike Cassia Cinnamon which tends to be harsh and immediately makes its presence felt and often ruins the recipe.
